Huanglian Association supports rural revitalization

The Huanglian Industry Association of Shizhu County, focusing on the construction of the municipal-level modern agricultural industrial park project, has successfully completed the "Training for New Professional Farmers in the Municipal-Level Modern Agricultural Industrial Park of Shizhu County" from January 22, 2022, to June 22, 2022, with the care and support of the county agricultural committee and the strong cooperation of various towns, through careful arrangements by the association's council and in collaboration with the Dynamic Monitoring Information Technology Service Station for Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources in Shizhu County, organizing a skilled team of Huanglian experts as trainers.
This training session included a total of 26 classes, covering Huangshui Town, Fengmu Town, Shazi Town, Lengshui Town, and Zhongyi Township, training a total of 1,676 new professional farmers (Huanglian farmers).
ThisThe content of this training includes: 1. The history of Huanglian cultivation in Shizhu and the distribution of Huanglian cultivation resources nationwide; 2. Quality and safety of traditional Chinese medicinal materials (Huanglian), interpretation of the announcement by the National Medical Products Administration, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the "Production Quality Management Specifications for Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials" (Announcement No. 22 of 2022); 3. The work done by the Shizhu County People's Government in recent years for the Huanglian industry, introduction of policy support for the Huanglian industry, and analysis of the market prospects for the Huanglian industry; 4. New technologies for Huanglian cultivation in prepared soil; 5. Techniques for the prevention and control of pests and diseases in Huanglian.
This training utilized a combination of PPT teaching and on-site teaching methods, allowing the trained Huanglian farmers to gain a wealth of knowledge on the history of Huanglian cultivation, resource distribution, policy guidance, analysis of the development prospects of the industrial market, as well as techniques for Huanglian cultivation in prepared soil and pest and disease control, receiving unanimous praise from the majority of Huanglian farmers.
