The project topic "Development of Major Varieties of Huanglian" in the National Key R&D Program

On March 18, led by Professor Li Xuegang from the School of Pharmacy at Southwest University, a joint project involving 12 institutions including the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, the Friendship Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University, the Chongqing Institute of Chinese Medicine, Beijing Tongrentang Technology Development Co., Ltd., Taiji Group Chongqing Tongjunge Pharmaceutical Wholesale Co., Ltd., Tian Sheng Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Dengkang Oral Care Co., Ltd., Beijing Shengtai'er Technology Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Wanglong Huanglian Co., Ltd. successfully completed the acceptance of the "13th Five-Year" National Key Research and Development Program project "Development of Major Varieties of Huanglian." The acceptance work included: on-site verification, project performance evaluation, and expert review and guidance.
The opening of the meeting was hosted by Director Hu Changhua of the Science and Technology Department of Southwest University; leaders from the Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau gave speeches; Vice President Cui Yanqiang of Southwest University delivered a welcome speech (online); project leader Li Xuegang introduced the basic situation of the project; project leaders and key members attended the meeting.
The head of the project performance expert group entrusted Researcher Pu Shengcai to introduce the on-site verification situation of projects one, two, and three, while the project leader introduced the project's situation.
After listening to the report, Professor Li Xiaohui from the Army Medical University, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(online) Vice President Li Shenghong, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, designated project responsibility expert from the Biological Center (online) Professor Meng Qinggang, designated project responsibility expert from China Resources Sanjiu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (online) Vice President Tan Ying, Professor Xu Yi from Chongqing University, Researcher Pu Shengcai from the Chongqing Institute of Drug Planting, and Professor Liu Jianhui from Chongqing University of Technology formed an expert group to provide review and guidance for the project acceptance. The progress of the project received unanimous praise from the experts, and they agreed to conclude the project.
